In the March 2008 Issue of the nationally distributed magazine "Print Solutions", Action Printing's successful PURL Campaign was featured as a case study.
Action Printing was commissioned by a mayoral candidate to assist in his campaign. Mike Stevens, co-owner, started by creating a mailing list of potential voters from various backgrounds An online survey polled the identified sampling of voters on what issues mattered to them. After the survey was done, the client was shown as behind by 23%. Action Printing responded by starting an aggressive 1-to-1 marketing campaign, targeting the on-the-fence voters with specific messaging about the issues that concerned them. “We were able to flip the deficit and our candidate won with 55 percent of the vote,” Mike Stevens says.
