Tips for Organizing Your Files
To reduce your turnaround time and prevent us time-consuming speed bumps with your files, here are a few things to keep in mind when organizing your files for submission.
- Try to send us only what we need to complete your project. It’ll minimize the chance we’ll use the wrong file and speed up transfer speeds.
- Save your project in as few files as possible. If you have a multi-page document, use the page function in the program rather than a separate file for each page. This will minimize confusion and speed up transfer speeds.
- Try to name your files something descriptive (i.e. “BaysideHighYearbook09.indd” rather than “Doc1.indd”)
- If you have a lot of files, consider organizing them into folders
